Team Member Bio: Melissa Lipari

Dr. Melissa Lipari is a podiatrist with Premier Podiatry and Orthopedics in Northern California.

Dr. Lipari received her Doctorate in Podiatric Medicine from the California School of Podiatric Medicine (now Samuel Merritt University College of Podiatric Medicine). She completed her residency through Legacy Health, and then completed her fellowship at the University of Louisville School of Medicine.

Dr. Lipari specializes in all aspects of foot and ankle care but holds a deep passion for surgical techniques, including but not limited to bunion surgery, lapiplasty, charcot reconstruction, clubfoot reconstruction, arthroscopy, foot and ankle revision, rearfoot reconstruction, and total ankle replacement (TAR). She also treats diabetic patients for wounds and for prevention.

In addition to serving her local community, she is passionate about international medicine. She practices annually with The International Extremity Project, performing deformity correction in developing regions, including Vietnam. She will join IEP's first mission to Bhutan in December 2025.

When not treating patients, Dr. Lipari likes to spend time on outdoor adventures. Rock climbing has been a lifelong passion: She trains in the gym during the week to prepare for outdoor climbs. She cherishes the time she gets to spend with her family amidst the beauty of the mountains.
