Friday in Namibia -- Interviews & Surgeries

Our Thursday started off at 6:00 a.m. with an interview on Good Morning Namibia broadcast on the Namibian Broadcast Corporation (NBC).

It was Dr. Lehnert's first time on TV and it went really smoothly.  Later in the evening, NBC did a special on our team for the 8:00 p.m. broadcast.

Thursday's surgeries included another Achilles tendon lengthening as well as the repair of a neglected clubfoot deformity.

Entry to Katutura Hospital
It was a great day of surgery with eight cases in all. Each was very complicated and life-changing for the patients. Our days have averaged 10+ hours of work.

We're finding that the people and country of Namibia are really wonderful. We fell as lucky to be here as they they are to have the surgeries.
