Countdown to Vietnam: Aziz Rasooli

The IEP team is getting ready for our next mission to Vietnam in December. Today's post is from Aziz Rasooli, who will be joining IEP for his first mission.

I have always been interested in international medicine and surgery. While this type of surgical experience provides residents an opportunity to perform complex reconstructive surgery to treat rare or neglected pathologies, it can also be a fruitful and rewarding experience. 

I first learned about the International Extremity Project (IEP) during my fourth year of podiatry school. It was then that I knew this was what I wanted to do. I am very excited about this opportunity to travel to Can Tho, Vietnam.
