My name is Jenna Dipkin. I can’t wait to go to Vietnam! IEP’s mission is one I am deeply honored to participate in, especially for my first experience with international volunteering! As someone who suffered a major foot/ankle injury that required surgical repair, this feels like a chance to pay forward my good fortune and help provide others with the same access to medical care I’ve benefited from.
I’m hoping to one day become a pediatrician. Having the opportunity to help people now is something I am so grateful to the entire IEP team for.
I haven’t started packing yet, but I’m working hard to practice some Vietnamese before we go! I can’t wait to meet the team!
