Team Member Bio: Lexington Lehnert

Lexington Lehnert, International Extremity Project

Lexington Lehnert attends St. Ignatius College Preparatory High School in San Francisco, where he will graduate in 2024. Lex has been joining the International Extremity Project for medical missions since 2012.

When he first started participating with the IEP team, Lex helped with fundraising events and organizing and packing equipment for the trips. During the last several missions, Lex has also helped with operating room inventory, photographic documentation, scribing for the doctors during screenings, and helping the nurses and doctors in the operating room.

Lex has a way with anxious children waiting for their surgery and has become known as the "child whisperer."

Lexington continues to be a part of IEP and hopes to be a doctor when he is older. Lexington recently returned from IEP's first mission to Angola and looks forward to Vietnam in December 2023.
