The International Extremity Project will be traveling to the Republic of Angola for a medical mission this July. Invited by the First Lady of Angola, Ana Dias Lourenço, IEP will bring a small team for an initial exploratory mission.
Team members are eager to return to work and travel, bringing their skills to a new country and sharing knowledge with local medical professionals.
The team last traveled to Africa for a mission to Namibia in 2018. During that mission trip, part of the IEP team traveled to Angola to meet government healthcare officials and tour medical facilities. A few days later, some of the doctors they met in Angola traveled to Namibia to observe surgeries by the IEP team.
Stay tuned for updates as planning continues!
