From Madison Pribyl, RN
The team had a long day of travel yesterday. We came from all directions — San Francisco, Chicago, Kentucky, Israel, and London — for one purpose: to help the people of the Mekong Delta.
After multiple layovers and more than 24 hours of travel door-to-door, 31 team members arrived at
Tan Son Nhat International Airport in Ho Chi Minh City with 25 boxes of medical equipment. The first thing most new team members noticed when we arrived was the climate: 94% humidity and temperatures in the 90F range is an adjustment.
Returning to Can Tho after four years away felt like coming home. The TTC Hotel staff was awaiting our arrival. Those of us who have been before enjoy the familiar view of the Can Tho Bridge and the sounds of the motor boats making their way up the Mekong every morning.

From Ho Chi Minh City, we began the three-hour bus journey south to Can Tho with a stop midway for our first team lunch.
After arriving around, our travel-weary team got together to prepare the materials for our screening day.
We're excited to start our 15th medical mission over the last 25 years! Let's do it!
